WHO IS ROSERV GREEN ENERGY

We own the oil refining unit in Onesti (former RAFO) where we started an investment program for the conversion of this large industrial objective into a production and services unit for the market energy products in Romania.

Our refinery, one of four of Romania’s largest refineries (former Rafo Onesti) with an installed capacity of 3.5 million tons/year of crude oil, it is located in the north-east of Romania, near to the border to Moldova and Ukraine. Refinery is situated on the petrochemical industrial platform of Onesti town, since ’80 was the one of the largest petrochemical complex in the Eastern Europe.

In recent years the refinery has been temporarily closed to carry out the refurbishment investment program. The current and promising conditions of the oil refining industry for fuel production have led us to initiate an investment program to refurbish the refining unit in the direction of renewable energy production, hydrogen, biofuels and ethers.

  • The place is about 3 km from Oneşti, Bacău County. Onesti City is situated at an average altitude of 210 m, in the easter location, neighborhoods and infrastructure n part of Romania, in a depression from the confluence of the Trotus - Oituz - Tazlău - Caşin rivers, in the Eastern Carpathian Mountains. The population of the city is 53,000 inhabitants, and the city also serves the neighboring areas, reaching approx. 110,000 inhabitants.
  • The total area owned by ROSERV GREEN ENERGY is 295 ha.
  • The facility is located on the Borzesti industrial site, on the right bank of the Trotus river with the next neighbors : North - the former Carom plant, South - Borzesti CET1 power plant, East - Trotus river, West - Industriilor Street.
  • We are interconnected to National Road’s and National Railroad’s, our RTCs network is 36 km.
  • The 400/220/110 kV Gutinaș electrical substation, located in the southern part of Onești municipality, represents one of the most important energy nodes in the National Energy System (SEN) and is the main “energy gate” of Moldova.
  • Onești Gas Compression Station, including the Onești Technological Node, with an installed capacity of 9.14 MW, 2 compressors of 4.57 MW each, one active and one spare.
  • ROSERV GREEN ENERGY is interconnected with both facility : Gutinaș electrical substation (SEN) and Onești Gas Comprassion Station.
